Not always having the “perfect” light, enough time, or the exact location in mind are what keep me excited about photographing couples. Not always having the answers keeps me learning and ever perfecting my craft. On the day of Kaleb and Milo’s engagement session, a scheduling snafu lead to a short amount of daylight and a last minute location change. So, we found ourselves on a hillside in San Luis Obispo. Once the daylight was gone, I decided not to shoot flash but use only available light from the flood lights in an empty warehouse parking lot. A few days later we headed out to Morro Bay for another quick session with some sun!
