It was our first time photographing a wedding at The Reserve at Spanos Park. This venue didn’t let us down! The Reserve is a golf course that hosts events and weddings. The rad thing is, as you can see from the photos, you don’t have to have the golf course experience for your wedding if you don’t want to. We shot Kas and Diana’s post-ceremony portraits in an epic open field filled with tall grass. The field is just off the road that leads to the clubhouse. We didn’t even need to leave the property. We explored just off the property and found an empty country road and some rows of corn to shoot in.
The Reserve at Spanos Park does offer a bridal suite and a room for the guys to get ready in. Because both the bride and groom got ready so close together it was easy to sneak them out separately for pre-wedding portraits. Because of the midday sun and heat, we wanted to keep them as comfortable as possible so photographing in the shade was a must. There was one spot with plenty of trees and cool shade so we brought Kas and Diana out separately and took their photos in the same shaded location.
We brought our photo booth, check it out here!
